April 16, 2026 | At Future Ready 2026: NSBproject represents the consortium in Brussels

Brussels, 16 April 2026

The TORNADO project was represented today at Future Ready 2026, the annual flagship event organised by ADRA, the AI, Data and Robotics Association, in collaboration with the European Commission and the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA). Held in hybrid format in Brussels, the event gathered researchers, innovators, industry leaders and policymakers from across Europe to explore how AI, data and robotics can drive next-generation innovation — and, crucially, how funded projects can move from research excellence to real-world deployment and commercial scale.

The Event

Future Ready 2026 is one of the most significant gatherings in the European ADR ecosystem. Through success story showcases, synergy sessions, panel discussions and interactive breakout workshops, the event addressed a challenge that sits at the core of every Horizon Europe project: how to maximise the impact of cutting-edge research beyond project completion. The programme brought together leading voices from the European Commission, ADRA Topic Groups, and project consortia working at the frontier of AI, data and robotics… all united by the goal of turning innovation into lasting industrial and societal value.

NSBproject on the Ground for TORNADO

TORNADO’s partner NSBproject attended the event as an active representative of the consortium, engaging with project coordinators and stakeholders from across the ADR ecosystem. NSBproject established productive connections with several AI and robotics-focused initiatives, opening new avenues for collaboration on the exploitation and market uptake of cutting-edge research results — a mission that maps directly onto TORNADO’s own objectives.

This active presence is no coincidence: within the TORNADO consortium, NSBproject brings precisely the expertise that transforms technological breakthroughs into market-ready solutions. Their competences in business modelling, go-to-market strategy and technology transfer are instrumental in ensuring that TORNADO’s cloud robotics platform — designed to empower autonomous mobile robots to operate in complex, human-populated environments and handle small, soft and deformable objects with advanced AI-driven capabilities — reaches the industries and end-users that can benefit from it most.

A Strategic Dialogue with Lasting Potential

The conversations initiated at Future Ready 2026 have laid concrete groundwork for future synergies between TORNADO’s deep technical innovation and NSBproject’s commercialisation expertise. With a shared goal of accelerating the real-world deployment of frontier AI and robotics technologies in European industry, both TORNADO and NSBproject are committed to ensuring that the project’s outcomes go far beyond the laboratory.

We look forward to building on the connections made today and to continuing our journey toward making intelligent, adaptive robotics a reality across European industrial settings.
